First of all I want to thank-you all for your comments on my last post, I am grateful for all my followers and comments.
Now on to commenting, I have tried to leave comments on some blogs I get an error saying oh oh something is broken, not sure why this is happening, I have tried several times and had no luck it is only a few blogs as of now, I just want you all to know that if I have commenting in the past I am still a follower but cannot comment for some reason.
I am so happy to show you a little progress on Jesus Wept, some of the words in the Sampler are different, like the word Wept, the young girl that designed this Sampler many years ago spelled Weept, I did keep that word that way on the Sampler, I also have changed a few things on the page like the border, for some reason it just did not look right so I changed it a little.
As you can see many of the things she stitched are very close together, I did not want to change them I thing they are charming in this Sampler.
I stitched this on 36 count linen, I wanted something smaller when framed, I have done a little more stitching since this photo was taken, I hope to have it finished by Sunday or Monday next week.
I am having my veins taken care of in my right leg there are only two, one of them is so painful I have to get it done, I hate going under and coming out of anesthesia, I get such migraines, I will be off one day from the food shelf and back on Monday.
I hope things are getting better for our friends in the south, how sad that energy companies are taking advantage of people in this time of the pandemic and charging such high prices for natural gas, shame on them, I hope the government does something about the price gouging.
Have A Wonderful Day
Catherine
First Of all thank-you from my heart for your kind words and prayers, they are very comforting.
One person went home hopefully the other three will be home recovering at home with family and friends.
I did get a little stitching in last evening, I was working on Jesus Wept, I love this Sampler however I have changed a few things, the designs was done by a 9 year old girl, it is a reproductive Sampler, I just cannot handle stitch's being of so i straighten many so it is more cohesive. Not a very good photo, the colors are so lite, I am making some more changes when i start stitching again tomorrow.
With a heavy heart I ask for you all to pray Lindsay who lost her most beautiful life when shot by a mad man at the clinic she worked for, please pray for her family and friends who miss her terribly.
Also keep the other four who were shot and recovering, hopefully they all will be home soon and back to work.
I worked for Allina for twenty three years, I have been retired for six years now but still consifer them my family.
Thank-you from my heart.

I am not sure what is happening but all the blogs I follow are not showing on my sidebar, now I have to get on the ball and find blog address and reinstate them.
What a mess.
Catherine
I was looking at my blog yesterday and noticed that some of the follower address's I had on the side of my page are missing, I am so sorry for this not sure where they went, it must have something to do with google messing around and trying to fix something which is not broke.
I am slowly accumulating names and address's to add to my sidebar.
It is snowing and raining today pray for the safety of everyone out today.
Please Pray for our country, we really need the Prayers now more then ever.
Hugs to everyone
Catherine
Hello to all my lovely followers, thank-you from my heart for sticking with me for so long.
I have been stitching some, I did finish a small design I found on Pinterest, not sure who the designer is.
This is the Most Blessed Virgin Mary With baby Jesus, I use varigated threads not sure I like the outcome of the way the threads worked out, looks too stripy, I plan on making it a stand up.
I also did get some stitching done on my Jesus Wept Sampler, the thread colors are so light looking, I bought all the silk threads from Sassy Jacks, I am not ready to change to another type or color of thread, way too expensive for my blood after spending money on the ones I am using. (sorry about the bad photo)
Here the restaurants will open again today, I am so happy, book club will be tomorrow evening, the book for discussion is a mitch Albom Have a little Faith, it is a true story but and lovely one, I have read his other books.
We went to a Latin Mass yesterday it was so amazingly beautiful it brought tears to my eyes, oh how I miss the Latin Mass.
The snow is melting and weather is warm for January I am not complaining, I like warmer weather.
Have a beautiful week
Catherine
Thank-you all for your lovely comments on my last post it seems like months since that post.
I am so happy 2020 is over I hope and pray that 2021 will be a better year, it has been very hard for many of my family and friends, I have not had to adjust too much due to being retired, I still go into the food shelf because there is a need, I just cannot stay home and let people in need suffer, it could have been me, I do love going and giving to those in need, it warms my heart when they thank us for being there for them.
I work with the most amazing people everyone from the director to my husband who also volunteers there three days a week.
We have been very busy with improving our 20 year old home, it is a refreshing feeling to be able to do these thigs.
I also had a large project to work on, I did many and I mean many crystal balls with seed beads, I am now out of crystals and will have to order more, I have now completed over 200 of them.
I do not have much to show you for stitching, being busy with beading and home improvements has taken up much of my time.
I will post a finish tomorrow, I just need to add a few more stitch's to finish.
Happy And Healthy New Year To You All
Catherine
I do hope you all are doing your
best during this lockdown phase, frankly I am tired of it, I hope soon it will be over and back to normal.
I have not posted due to problems with google, somehow some of my follower tags were deleted, I now have to find them which will not be easy.
Anyhooo, we have been having many things done here at the old homestead, we had the rest of the windows put in which the house was torn apart by moving furniture, then some painting, then cleaning out cabinets plus the stove pooped out and trying to find one was not easy, however I love the new one it is a beautiful blue in the oven.
I have done some stitching, I finished my Betsy Morgan two weeks ago, I will try to get it constructed before Christmas if all goes well.
I finished a gift to me from Donna over at https://cardsbydruth@blogspot.com I could not get the link to work, so sorry.
Greetings to all: Thank-you from my heart for all your comments on my last two posts, so sorry i have not sent out individual thank-you's, it has been busy here.
I bought some fabric from the Primitive Hare, I am loving the fabric, there is a slight stiffness but not very just right, the dye she did is beautiful, i am now a new customer of hers, I still buy from my favorite Needlework shop Stitchville USA but want a back up just in case I cannot find what I need.
I do have three finish's one was a trade from Lynda Ruth From Canada, https://twododo.blogspot.com
I had so many ideas for this beautiful December Girl, I finally decided to make her into a frame, she will grace my buffet table for Christmas Season. I just love her, thank-you Lynda Ruth, so sorry it took so long to get her into a frame.
Not sure if this will show up or not, I seem to be having problems with posting and photos, I am so mad at Google for changing something that is not broke, now I have to check off pictures before I can post a comment on most blogs, to make sure I am not a robot, this is nuts.
Catherine
Hello to all my faithful followers, I am so happy to be posting today, I have so much to show you but will keep it low key and show more later this week.
I had two of my finished stitch's framed, one at JoAnn's and one at Hobby Lobby, the price at Hobby Lobby was much less then JoAnn's.
This is Shepherds Bush I am not sure of the name, I sent the on to someone else, so sorry, the one button on thr dress is a little off, Hobby Lobby said they will correct that for me.
I added the ric rak of my own.
A special thank-you to Pamela Allen https://hokkaidokudasei.blogspot.com, thank-you for emailing me and asking if everything is okay, since I have not posted since the middle of July, here in Minnesota it is a short season to get outdoor things done.
Plus having a few family members ill has kept us busy, thankfully it is not the virus, just surgeries and other ailments.
We have been very healthy here and hope to stay healthy, we are still volunteering at the Food Shelf, we work with the best people in the world, we are very Blest to work and call then friends.
Time to sign off.
Stay Healthy
