Merry Christmas Happy Hanukkah

 Thank-you to all who have left comments about Michaels surgery, he is still recovering but doing well.

I have been decorating a bit but not as much as usual, we have had so many doctors appointments and Christmas Parties to go to its very hard to get much done.

I did finish a By The Bay Design

                                I love this design I cannot remember when I bought the pattern, 

                                                          I hope to construct it tomorrow

I have been watching Tiger Lily Youtube videos, Kari has a load of energy and a very informative                                                           Youtube site, check her out if you get a chance

I started stitching the Santa that will go on a sleigh ornament, there is also a Mrs. Santa and a Snowman                                               design, they are all three free designs from Kari

                            Mrs. Santa is so sweet looking, I hope to start her sometime on Sunday

                                              This is how far I am on Santa; it is on 14 count

                         ( I cannot remember the last time I stitched on 14 count but its not bad at all)

                        I have ordered a few PDF designs, one is from Belinda at Blue ribbon Designs, I am                                                        thinking I will do the tree on a lighter green fabric

I also ordered a Penguin design from Just Another Button Company, I did order the hat and pins also, 

                                                 he is so cute not sure when I will start him

I was having a very bad day, my feelings running crazy about Michael's health, I am okay now just a bit                                                                      more bad news for him

I went to the mail box found this amazing package from Marilyn in Wisconsin (No Blog), she made this beautiful pin pillow and sent along things IO can really use, the floss tags were put to work immediately, they are beautiful, I am out of lip saver, these will come in handy for sure, the Kleenex is such a sweet                                                     idea, everyone can use Kleenex especially me

The last three days we have been waking up to snow lots and lots of snow, the trees are full of snow, it                                                                      really is beautiful to see

I have been doing the snow blowing, it is not easy it's a big machine and my small hands have a little bit                           of a problem, I did three driveways yesterday two of our neighbors and ours

                   Looking out on the golf course where it was such a beautiful green not so long ago

We decided not to put the tree up in the kitchen this year instead we put up a garland and hung some of my Campbells Soup ornaments on the garland, I will need to take a night photo and put on my next post

I also put out a few of my Nutcrackers and a couple of my favorite Christmas statues, however I see the                                               Angels star is missing I need to glue that back on

My Favorite Campbells Soup ornament are the raccoons with the soup cans for a soup phone

Some Stitching & Good News

 Thank-you to all for your lovely comments and concerns for Michael, it warms my heart to have so many friends who really care.

Hi surgery date has been reset for December 5thPrayers are really needed the blockage is very near the brain.

I have been stitching a bit, I worked on Sue Hillis design and finished stitching all the parts, Sue does an amazing job with her display on how to finish a design, I am excited to get it all constructed, I need to finish adding the buttons.

I also did a couple of constructions, one is from Scattered Seed Samplers designs I stitched this one back in 2020, it is from The Seeds Of Kindness four-part series, it was a club four times a year, the design can be bought on Esty site, it was supposed to be a mat, but I wanted a barrel to add to my barrel collection which is a small one for now.

I am going to start a new design, I hope to have it finished before next Monday, it's a smaller design and not much stitching, I just love this Santa and reindeer, Its a By The bay Design 

I bought the new Book Of Days from Stitchville USA  952-474-1700 I order over the phone which gets me the things I need faster plus Deb uses different distributing site like Hoffmans.

I really need to keep better track of what I stitch and when

I ordered a four time a year club from Just Another Button Company, the first one is adorable, I hope to have it finished before Christmas

I also ordered a Christmas design from Kanakis https://kanikis.com they do not have much on their web site, I did find this adorable Church design, it is a PDF

Some Stitching Some Finishing

It has been very busy here in the Laurent household, we cleared all the gardens of ornaments the bird feeders are full the winterizing is done on the lawn mower and power tools for outside.

 

I stitched this Virgin Mary and Jesus for a Christmas gift for a friend, the fabric is very sparkly, so I thought the frame worked well

This is the ORT jar from the Erica Michaels 1787 Sampler Smalls Class I took, I just need to construct the rest of the pieces

I have been doing a bit of stitching, I am working on a Sue Hillis A Study In Blue, I am using up all my WDW threads left over from other projects, it is working out well so far

I really like this design and in my stash, I have the right sized box for finishing, I hope to have all the stitching done by this Friday

I also finished constructing the Chessie and Me design from a few years ago

I finally found a frame for the Last Ripe Berries from Blackbird Designs Loose Feathers Series #9

I have some of the patterns but not all, this one I found in the stash relocation pile at retreat a couple of years ago, all the designs so far are in different frames which I prefer

Well, it's snowing again, and we have almost a 8 inches of snow

Mike's surgery was cancelled due to him having the flu, sadly he has to wait again, the carotid is blocked 95% I hope he can hang on till the surgery and have no strokes or other health problems, please say a few Prayers for him
