I Am Not Liking The New Blogger Nothing But Problems

Hello to all my lovely followers, thank-you from my heart for sticking with me for so long.

I have been stitching some, I did finish a small design I found on Pinterest, not sure who the designer is.

This is the Most Blessed Virgin Mary With baby Jesus, I use varigated threads not sure I like the outcome of the way the threads worked out, looks too stripy, I plan on making it a stand up.

I also did get some stitching done on my Jesus Wept Sampler,  the thread colors are so light looking, I bought all the silk threads from Sassy Jacks, I am not ready to change to another type or color of thread, way too expensive for my blood after spending money on the ones I am using. (sorry about the bad photo)

Here the restaurants will open again today, I am so happy, book club will be tomorrow evening, the book for discussion is a mitch Albom Have a little Faith, it is a true story but and lovely one, I have read his other books.

We went to a Latin Mass yesterday it was so amazingly beautiful it brought tears to my eyes, oh how I miss the Latin Mass.

The snow is melting and weather is warm for January I am not complaining, I like warmer weather.

Have a beautiful week

Catherine

I am sorry you are slightly disappointed with your stitching.
I hope it warms up here too. I would not mind the snow melting at all.

Your finish of the Virgin Mary is so lovely, Catherine--simple yet so striking and recognizable! Our restaurants reopened last week, but I am still avoiding going out. Take good care now!

Your work is lively, the Virgin Mary is very striking. We are in a lockdown so nothing is open but essential shops, stay safe

I like your stitching but you own them and the most important is that YOU like them.

Why is it when there is nothing wrong with something they have to go and “improve” it. I miss some of the features we lost with the update to blogger. Your stitching looks lovely. Wishing you some warmer weather in the not to distant future. Your header shot of the snow in your backyard it beautiful.

I love the Mary and Jesus with varigated thread. It has an ethereal look, which seems fitting. I also love Mitch Albom. I liked Have a Little Faith, but not as much as Tuesday with Morrie.

The right side of your work appears to have a white item beneath and that makes the threads more distinct. Or maybe my blurry eyes are wrong!

Forty this week for us, but it comes to an end. Drat. Phooey.

Just love the Madonna piece and look forward to the completion of "Jesus
Wept". Like you, I find the Latin Mass and it's music very moving.. Another example of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" A bless New Year to
you and yours, Catherine.

I think the Madonna is pretty.
Some restaurants here are open, some just carry-out or drive by pick up.
Hope your Blogger problems clear up soon.

Hi Catherine, The Mary and Jesus looks like stained glass to me! It is very pretty. I'm glad you were able to go to Latin Mass. Our church has one as well but we are still watching Mass at home due to having little children who are unreliable mask wearing for long periods and touching everything and putting their mouths on the pew. I have not read any books by that author but have heard a lot about Tuesdays with Morrie so maybe I should start with that one! I miss my book club!

Hello Catherine.
The blessed virgin is beautiful with the blues, Lovely job.
I've ordered specialty threads online. Much of the time, I am satisfied with it, but sometimes, they aren't to my liking when I do get them. With the price of postage as it is now, it's cheaper to keep the ones you don't like, in hopes that you'll be able to use them later.
Winter won't be here forever. Soon, the temperatures will change. The breezes will turn balmy, "love them", and all life under ground will begin to break through the soil in our gardens.
Love you my friend.

Yes, such lovely blues in the blessed virgin, which is how it should be, isn't it?

Your stitching is lovely....it can be disappointing when the beautiful threads look different than planned. Once finished you will be pleased.

Lovely work on these! I have some issues with it as well. I wish they'd left it alone.

Life has not been easy with me after my marriage was broken when my husband filled for a divorced but I thank God for using LORD ZAKUZA who's like a God on Earth to get my broken marriage restored with his powerful spell. I suffered for depression for 6 months but today, I am so happy for getting to know LORD ZAKUZA for his spell has really made me to believe that of a truth spells are real and they work. I adhered to every bit of instructions given to me by LORD ZAKUZA for he promised me that he will make me happy and proud and really, all that happened and my husband came back to me with his knees on the ground begging me for forgiveness within 48 hours after I got in touch with him and now we are perfectly bonded again for life. I can boldly say to everyone out there that LORD ZAKUZA spells is really the best and most powerful. I'm forever grateful to him till the end of time.
