Hello To All

Hello to my new followers,  Sally and Capecodgirl, Sondra, Monica and all the wonderful followers I have had for a while.
I do not have your emails to send thank-you's or to follow you so if you would be so kind to email me your blog site and email I will follow you in return
It has been a trying last 7 months for me personally, I am not going to blab on long about this, I will be stitching as much as possible, you see I injured my wrist last August while walking my 50 pound dog, since then I have a very severe and I mean severe case of arthritis.
It is extremely painful, I can only stitch for a very short period, I am going to have to hire someone to vacuum for me and mop floors, I need surgery and hope to get that done within the next month, cast for 3-8 weeks ugh.
I have done some stitching in the last week and as half, slow but for sure getting some done.
I will post a photo this evening.

Hugs
Catherine

So sorry about your wrist . I am having pain in my arm again so I try and rest it every other day and so far it's ok , I think mine is wear and tear .
I think we need to alternate our sewing and crafts every few days .
Take care and hope the pain gets a little better. Hugs.

So sorry about your wrist. I have severe arthritis in all the thumb joints of both hands and a little in each wrist. I have been told about that surgery, but I am trying to put it off until the pain is too bad to bear as my hand specialist has recommended. I hope you find relief once you have had the surgery. It is so very hard for those of us who love to stitch to be unable to do so like we used to. Hugs and prayers for a successful surgery.

Ouch. I'm sure the surgery will help you greatly. Many friends have benefited from new procedures and after the healing is complete, you'll be stitching without pain!

Oh no Catherine I hate to hear that. I'm having issues with my right thumb and the doctor thinks I will need surgery too. I also have arthritis and know the pain you are experiencing. I hope all goes well and you will be back to your stitching form as soon as possible. Much love to you my friend. RJ

So sorry to hear this and hope the surgery get's you back on the mend. Goodness, you're the 3rd person I've talked to today that has had an injury which will result in surgery. One is my youngest nephew, badly torn Achilles Tendon and he'll have surgery next week. I'm glad you're able to do some stitching, it will help you keep you sanity. Keep us posted. ((HUGS))

Catherine I am sorry to hear this. I know it is painful so don't overdo anything or push yourself because that will just make it worse.
