Just a Little Progress

Thank-you to all who follow me and thank-you from my heart for your comments, I really look forward to reading them.
I am feeling so good health wise, it is amazing how a sickness can keep you down for so long.

I have to ask a question, how many of us are sick of stupid commercials on TV? I just viewed the ad for progressive insurance, what is the matter with these companies? do they really think we are idiots? just asking!!!

Blue Ribbon Designs has some very sweet designs, this one really caught my eye, I just had to stitch it.

I am so happy with my progress, this is such a pretty design, I am not a big fan of purple but this one is so pretty. This is the box top,  have a round Shaker Box for this.

This is the needlebook back, I hope to finish this by Sunday.
It is warming up here in the upper 30s today with the great possibility of rain snow mix then cold again this evening, I am so happy to be retired.
Have a beautiful day.

Catherine

I love the stitches. They are so pretty. I am happy to be retired also, but I didn't even have to get out in snow. It is pretty cold for north Florida. We have the heat lamps on the lemon tree for the past two nights. I think that was the last of it though. I am actually good at tuning out commercials. If my husband is watching that means it is time to channel surf:)

Beautiful project Catherine! To be honest, I'm getting rather sick of TV in general...enjoy streaming w/o commercials must better. I am retired too but don't have to deal with much snow here in Richmond...though I love the snow!!!

Gorgeous project! I love matching sets.

I don’t have a television here in Japan, but I sometimes see it when I am in a hotel. It seems like there are a lot of commercials for weight loss and staying young products.

Lovely projects! With me, the mute button is always deployed for commercials but when I see that Verizon guy.....drives me nuts!

I've often wondered if the persons that approve the ridiculous ads are still working there. I still like the one man band for Hormel pepperoni and a few others. But not many!!

Looking good. I think she is a ruler square pocket a few years back with that same peacock.

I was just telling my husband that ALL of the insurance commercials are very stupid.
It's like hey trying to compete with other for the stupid award!
I have that pattern, need to stitch it, it's so pretty, love the colors.
Glad you are feeling better.

You do work on some pretty sets .
Have a happy day .

LOL!!! Some of those commercials are just terrible I agree. Usually dogs and children make the best commercials and that's about it.

Your stitching is just the opposite...it is perfection. Every thing you stitch is just so pretty. And I love your finishing. RJ

Oh, I totally agree with you on commercials, Catherine! Luckily, I DVR most of the shows I watch and just fast-forward through them :)

I think those are lovely pieces you are stitching now. I've never done a Blue Ribbon Designs piece--really should give them a second look.

Enjoy this last bit of January!

Hello
This is my first visit with you.
Yes, I hate commercials and the way they try to sell us a lifestyle especially the ones for cars and kitchens!
I love your stitching - that peacock is just beautiful.
Glad you are healthy again and hope you have a good weekend.

I haven't had tv in my house for nearly 20 years and don't miss anything about it!! When I go to Florida where I have cable I find it's impossible to find anything decent to watch and rarely watch it there.

I'm glad your feeling better, we don't bounce back quite as fast as we used to.

You always find unique pieces to stitch and this one is lovely. Looking forward to seeing your finish.

I don't normally watch tv for just that reason. I have plenty to watch on Netflix and the like.
Your stitching looks lovely, those colours are so pretty together.
And I'm glad to hear you're feeling better!
