A Full Finish Times Two

Thank-you for all your lovely comments and well wish's, I am feeling better, doing laundry, a little cleaning and stitching.
I was able to find a suitable frame for my Owls, I love this design, I may have to do another and change to colors for a friend.
The photo looks like it is crooked and wrinkled, it is not, the camera is playing ricks on me.
I won this pattern from Lynn over at please stop over and see her new Kat pattern.

Up next is a small finish, I will show all the finished pieces after I get the lace I need for the pin  pillow, which will hopefully be Friday or Saturday.
The pattern is from the Berry's & Bloom's design.
I used a thread keeper for the base, it was one I bought when I was in Madison Wisconsin for Betsy Morgans class last summer, I felt it fit perfect for the base.

I have done some stitching on my Blue Ribbon Design, I am so happy to have needle fabric and thread in my hand, this is my progress this week, I even matched up the circle all stitches met.

This is a side view of the lap/table top frame I have wanted for so long, it truly is a treat to have, I recieved this for Christmas from Mike.

I will be doing some more finishing this week, I found a basket I put away a long time ago, it has many items in it to be framed or whatever.
It is time to start dinner, I hope you are all feeling well, to all our dear friends from Australia, Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this devastating time.

God Bless

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Congrats on the finishes. I like that frame. Isn't it nice to have both hands free while the frame holds the stitching?

Those Owls are too cute, Lyn has some cute designs.
That's a great idea to use a threadkeep for a finish.
Glad you like the frame.

It's ruff getting sick, glad your better. I do love those owls. I like your stitching stand. I like to just hold the cloth and sew. I find it too ackward with a hoop. big hugs Lynda Ruth

Good to read are feeling much better.
I do like the spotty blue fabric at the top of the owl design, it really adds a lovely touch the framed piece.

So glad you are feeling better! I love the Berry's & Bloom's design, it looks like it is mounted on a pocket watch. I am always so excited when the ends of the circle meet without any errors.

So glad you are on the mend, Catherine. I find it so funny that after we've been sick it's almost pleasurable to get back to the mundane tasks like laundry and cleaning again :) I had the flu right after Christmas and was so pleased when I realized I felt well enough to run the vacuum cleaner!

Lovely stitching and that owl piece if finished so cute! The fabric, ric rac and dots all add up to a very fun finish :)

Hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!

Hello Catherine! It is so good to be back in blogland again. I have missed all of my blogging friends so much. I am sorry to hear you have been ill but happy to hear you are feeling better.

I love all of your stitching pieces especially the one on the thread holder. That is gorgeous and such a great idea. I'd love to hear more about the piece that Mike bought do they work?

Love to you my friend. RJ@stitchingfriendsforever

I'm so glad you are feeling better. I had the norovirus a couple of years ago and I think it's as sick as I've ever been.

I love your little owls perched in pairs. So cute! And your new stitching stand is great. I like the ways you can adjust it for the right position. Happy stitching with it.

According to Stanford Medical, It is in fact the SINGLE reason this country's women get to live 10 years longer and weigh an average of 19 kilos less than us.

(And actually, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret exercise and absolutely EVERYTHING around "HOW" they eat.)

BTW, I said "HOW", and not "WHAT"...
