You have a lot of stitching projects to show! I may get inspired to try to make a drum. I see them on blogs and websites but haven’t tried to make one yet.

Looks like you've been busy! Your comment came through on my blog and I got this post okay so hopefully whatever was going on has righted itself.

I like the idea to add ric rac to the drum top. Never saw the roosters, so cute! The patriotic designs are great, missed those too!

I have made 2 drums and keep saying I am going to do more. I really liked both of them. Yours is adorable. That was a great stitch to do that way. I love your hen and rooster. Blogging lately is a problem anytime an update occurs. Good luck.

Catherine, so many beautiful projects!! I stitched the Old Glory design a few years ago for my mom. I have it here now so will be putting it out for the Summer holidays.

Catherine - You have been busy! Beautiful work. I like the pattern for your drum. I’ve made one previously and hope the next drum I construct will be better. The roosters, new to me, are super cute. R

Oh, you sure have been productive, Catherine! Such varied and lovely pieces, too! I have never made a drum--am a bit intimidated to be honest. I hope you are still able to post and comment (I appreciate your comment last week on my blog!). Take care now and have a wonderful week ahead! ♥
