Happy Spring Almost Summer

Greetings my dear Friends: It has been very busy here, spring cleaning, gardening and many other things with graduations, anniversaries, summer parties and many hours spent reading and some stitching.

I am so happy to have the Teresa Kogut design barrel stitched, now I need to find the time to construct it, I really like the muted color threads, so soft looking, Teresa has an eye for color combinations.

This was from a class I took in Blue Earth Minn. in May with Welcome Stitchery, Teresa had a booth there also so you could buy some of her designs.

I am working on a sweet design that was gifted to me from Toki she is at https://watashigameganewokakerutoki.blogspot.com

This is a fun stitch

This is where I am today, almost finiashed

This was a gift from a sweet lady that works at Welcome Stitchery, her name is Kay, her two daughters were sitting at our table also, I forgot to post a photo in my last Blogpost of this beautiful bag

It has been raining here for a few days, the weather man says we will have rain for the next three + days, I do wish the sun would show it lovely face if for only a few hours, my plants are drowning just about.
I am not sure what my next project will be will post it when I decide

Have an amazing week
Catherine

What a sweet bag, so different. How nice that you have been able to get spring cleaning and chores worked. I used to go full speed from ceilings to floor but no more. I miss that job of washing out winter and making a clean start for summer. I hear you on the rain! Never had such a cold and wet three months.

Oh what beautiful stitching! When I first learned to stitch, it was all embroidery, and yours is so beautifully done. I really need to give it a try again! I love your Teresa Kogut piece, I have a few patterns of hers lined up to stitch as soon as I finish what I'm working on. Your gift bag is precious, such a nice assortment of working tools! I hope the weather dries up for you soon, we go days without rain, and almost enter a drought, then get dumped on so we almost have flash flooding. Odd weather for sure! Happy Stitching!

I hope you survived all that rain, Catherine, and that the sun is shining today. We finally have a sunny day here after relentless rainy days most of the spring. Now, it's going to be incredibly hot, but at least the sun is out. Lovely stitching and what pretty gifts you received. I hope you are enjoying a relaxing weekend! ♥
