I have finished another piece to a set, it is a ruler case, now I just need to fond the time to construct it.
This is from Olde Colonial Designs I rescued this set from the stash reallocation table a few years ago at Minnesota Needlework Guild Retreat, I have been slowly stitching the separate pieces, I do have another design to stitch for this set.
The pages are a bit wrinkled that is the way I found them, I do wish that whoever had this before me would have taken care of the designs better
The above is the ruler and backing fabric, love the pattern and green color fabric
This is the scissor case, I stitched in the past, not sure if I have shown this on the Blogger site
I hope to have them finished this week
This is the scissor fob
This is Lily, she is three years old, she was surrendered due to the owner had too many dogs, she is house broken and so lovable, she love to play, Mikey was so heart broken when we had to put Blondie the cat to sleep that he went into depression, he is now a very happy and bouncy guy
I hope and Pray you are saying Prayers for the fires and lives lost in California and the horrible weather that the south and east are gettingHave an amazing week of stitching

Lily is precious. Is she a chihuahua mix?
What a lovely dog.
God bless.
Try pressing the pages on the back with a low temp & no steam.
Lily is too cute, happy for Mikey.

What a cute addition to your family!!!
I have read that spraying a crease with a vinegar/water solution and then pressing with a dry iron will help to remove a stubborn wrinkle. Haven't had to try it, but it might be worth an experiment.
Lily is adorable and I'm sure she will be thrilled with her new home and playmate.
Oh, that set you are creating is so lovely, Catherine! And how darling is Lily!? I'm glad Mikey is happy again and I'm sure you're thrilled to have a new pup to love. ♥
Aww Lily is precious! She is one lucky girl to have found a home with you! What beautiful stitching, and from the looks of other things you have finished, they will be lovely when completed. The people of California are in my daily prayers as well as those affected by the hurricane last fall. I can't imagine sleeping in tents in the snow and frigid temperatures they are experiencing right now. Praying you and your husband are safe and healthy as well.
Another wonderful stitched set. And look at Miss Lily!!! Congrats on the new addition.
Lily is adorable! I'm so glad she found your loving home!
What a great addition to your home your new puppers! What a lucky day for Lily when you found her. Yes, the fires in California are so overwhelming not just for current but for the long range effects. So devastating. Great progress on your ‘found’ pattern is lovely. Too bad the pattern has been ‘loved’ a bit too much, or maybe neglected. IDK. Have a great stitching week.
I have never seen a cross stitch like the one you are doing for the ruler, it is very interesting! Oh Lily is adorable!! What luck that she is already housebroken!
I am sure you, Mike and Lily will have a lot of fun and good days together!
