Its Very Cold Here Windy And Perfect For Reading And Stitching

Hello my dear friends: It is bitter cold here in Annandale, Minnesota, it will be a very cold -5 degrees today not much better tomorrow.

I have been reading and stitching, I have couple of finish's and wish I had shown them to you before Valentines Day, one is a free design from Hands On Design, Token of My Heart Cathy designed this for 2025.

Not my best finish

I stitched this one many years ago, way back in 2017, I have had this sitting in my finishing basket for years this is from https://e-subrosa.blogspot.com I have stitched a few of her designs in the past, please check her out also on Etsy

I am working on a design from Primrose Cottage, I did buy the finishing kit for this design

So sorry about the wrinkles I am holding the fabric in my hand, I do not have a frame small enough for mounting and stitching
This will be a roller pin finish like the Baked With Love Design

Baked With Love Last years design for a roller pin finish

I have more to show but do not want to have a long blog post, I do however want to show you how kind and loving Toki is https://watashigameganewokakerutoki.blogspot.com please visit her Blog

This is so lovely I am going to start stitching it this week

The threads are included in the kit, I love this, thank-you Toki for being so thoughtful, your kindness touches my heart, it is a beautiful design

One last photo for the post, this is Lily  and Mikey playing, she has been such a pleasure to have , she has made Mikey so happy, she loves to cuddle and plays so much with us and Mikey, she has loads of energy she keeps us busy, she was three years old when brought to the shelter, the owner had three dogs and needed to get rid of one, lucky for us we found her, so many people called the shelter after we put money down on her, we had to wait a week because she had been spayed
She is such a sweet heart

I will post another day this week, I do not want to make this a long post
For those of you in cold weather please stay warm and those of you in very warm weather stay cool

A Little Stitching Plus A New Member Of The Family

I have finished another piece to a set, it is a ruler case, now I just need to fond the time to construct it.

This is from Olde Colonial Designs I rescued this set from the stash reallocation table a few years ago at Minnesota Needlework Guild Retreat, I have been slowly stitching the separate pieces, I do have another design to stitch for this set.

The pages are a bit wrinkled that is the way I found them, I do wish that whoever had this before me would have taken care of the designs better

The above is the ruler and backing fabric, love the pattern and green color fabric

This is the scissor case, I stitched in the past, not sure if I have shown this on the Blogger site

I hope to have them finished this week

This is the scissor fob

This is Lily, she is three years old, she was surrendered due to the owner had too many dogs, she is house broken and so lovable, she love to play, Mikey was so heart broken when we had to put Blondie the cat to sleep that he went into depression, he is now a very happy and bouncy guy

She weighs only 9 pounds as compared to Mikeys 14 pounds, he is so gentle with her

I hope and Pray you are saying Prayers for the fires and lives lost in California and the horrible weather                                                            that the south and east are getting

Have an amazing week of stitching

Our Blondie The Cat Had to Go To Cat Heaven Today

This was the most amazing cat I have ever had, she talked to me everyday,
she slept on my tummy and by my head, she was so cuddly and loving, she was a rescue 13 years ago, she was so ill the doctor said she may not make it, thankfully she did.

I will miss you sweet baby, I will see you again someday

                                                                     Hugs from Mommy

When I Was Young I thought 2025 Was Way Into The Future

Thank-you to all the wonderful comments from my faithful followers, my heart smiles when I read your comments.

I find it amazing that there are so many people who do not know me personally but care to leave comments and very sweet comments. This past year has been very hard on me and my husband, his illness and his sisters illness is very trying to me. I was scared by a doctor in the ER last November and told I may have bladder cancer, I am so thankful for the Prayers from the family and people that I had told this about, I do not have bladder cancer, I put everything in Gods hands, my Prayers were answered, I only shared this information with one person knowing she is a strong person when it comes to Prayers, thank-you so much, you know who you are, here in Blogland.

So on to stitching, I am almost finished with Blue Coat Santa, he is a full coverage design, I love Teresa Kogut Designs, and many other designers also. I hope to have him finished by tomorrow evening.

I have a couple of designs I want to stitch from Asbury's Echos, Rhonda has an Etsy Shop and a YouTube site, she has her son Drew on the videos with her, he sometimes shares what he is either making or of some of his animals, both the Etsy site and the YouTube site are Asbury's Echos by name, check her out.

We will star taking down the Christmas decorations the day after the Epiphany on Monday, it will make me sad, I love Christmas decorations.
I have a question for you, have you ever wanted to stitch a design look for it on Ebay, Etsy or Facebook and could not find it, I have been looking for a design for several years maybe if I give up it will show up sometime. I am not sure which one I will start next.

                                                                         Give Thanks
I hope you all are well enjoying needle and thread and some family time; it is very cold here in Minnesota, single digits and in the Teens only, brrrr.

Until, next time
