Lots Of Finishing And Some Stitching

The above photo is from a class I took last year at the Jungle Ball, these are bookmarks that I was going to make into ornaments, but they are a bit big, they are from the Tiny Modernist, they are her seasonal                                              bookmarks, I love that adorable hedgehog, he is so cute.

This is Simply Santa 2022 Cinnamon Stick from Home Spun Elegance, I did him on a 32 count unknown fabric, most of my fabrics are rescued from stash unloads at retreats, they very rarely have the fabric                                                                 information, just the count or not.

This is the back of the Santa, I bought many wood ornaments from Dollar General after Christmas 10                                                                              cents a piece.

I stitched these way back when and finally finished them, they are from the Cricket Collection Woolen                                           Mittens Two, unknown fabric was used, stitched on 36 count.

This is a mixed media from By The Bay, Donna Bayliss did hers as a small quilt hanging, Donna has a                                                        few others I may do for my pillow bowl

I stitched this on 32 count unknown fabric, Liz Mathews has changed her designing a bit, I still like her earlier design, I did spray the fabric with an antique spray only because I felt the fabric was a bit yellow                                                       for my liking, I hope to have it framed soon

This is my first attempt at needle felting, maybe its not for me, I may try something else later next year
I took the class at Minnesota Needlework Guild Retreat in August. the lady teaching the class was a hoot                                                        with Jessica Huang a wonderful Lady

I do not remember the designer but finished this into a pillow, it will go into my pillow bowl, I added                                                                                         beads

This is a Jerome Thomas design, I found him on Etsy, it is all wool felt I finished it into a pillow for       Christmas, I enlarged the design to use for the pillow, his is a bit smaller and used as an ornament

This is a Kitty and Me design, I have done two of these now, I am going to enter this one into the County                         Fair next year, I just love the eyes on Pamela Kellogg's Cats

Well, that is enough for today, it has been very busy around here, getting the yard cleaned up cutting back tree's branch's and bush's, cutting down all my Stella De Oro lilies and other plants that need to be cut       back, putting all the furniture away and washing windows, its takes a while to get things done.
Please say Prayers for Mike's sister she has been in and out of the hospital so many times we are afraid                                                                        we will lose her

I hope you all are getting ready for winter stitching and enjoying this time of year

As always you show such fun little projects. Makes me wish I had time to do some cross stitching (esp. one of those cats).

Wow! So many beautiful finishes and pretty WIPs, Catherine. I do adore that snowman with his little hedgehog friend :) And that Homespun Elegance ornament is darling with the green velvet ribbon. You are so brave to spray your fabric to make is look less yellow. It turned out great, though, and I like that Nantucket piece very much. November is such a busy time of year as we put our gardens to bed for the winter, do the windows, etc. I will certainly keep Mike's sister in my prayers... Hope things improve for her. Take care now, Catherine! ♥
