It Has Been A While

Thank-you to all who commented on my last post, it has been very busy, I am so sorry I did not send individual thank-You's, with Mikes appointments it has been an ongoing busy trying month.

Anyhoo, I want to tell you about a new to Blogland Blogger her name is Toki you can find her at: https://watashigameganewokakerutoki.blogspot.com Toki lives in Japan does jewelry making, she has some amazing rings she posted about last week, please visit her.

I have been busy trying to do some finishing, I did complete the stitching and construction on my Hares                                          Christmas, I did a flat fold, I wanted a stand up instead.

I stitched this on 26 count unknown fabric, I pick up fabric 36 count Edinburgh at stash relocation at                                                                             retreat last August

Then I worked on some towels for Christmas presents, my sister-in-law has a chicken theme going, they were easy I bought fat quarters and already made towels sewed the fabric onto the towels, of course I made some for myself

I also worked on my felt table place mat, I really like this design I bought from Northern Lites Quilt                                               shop, I do need to add the tendrils to the pumpkin tops

I also did some stitching on a free design from:  Brick City Cross Stitch  I did call their number it seems  they are still in business this is a Raise The Roof design, it can be shared as to the note on the bottom, if you would like one I will gladly send you one, however here in Minnesota we are very short of postal         workers and do not get mail every day or sent out every day many of my friends are now getting their                                                                          Christmas cards

There is a load of red in this design, it is an unknown UFO fabric 32 count

I did finish stitching my Plum Street Cow Pile, when I was stitching it I was not a big fan, now I love it                                                  to pieces I used an unknown UFO fabric 32 count

This was a free design from Donna Bayliss at By The Bay Designs, she sent it with a design I ordered which I have stitched and will construct this week, it will be another stand up for an easel, the leaf will be a scissor fob for my sewing scissors, again UFO fabric 36 count

Today the sun is shing the weather is almost 40 degrees for Minnesota that is a warm January in this neck of the woods, I am going to take the dogs (one at a time) for a walk, if I do both they get tangled and almost pull me down, I need to get out and not just to push snow or go shopping, however I do like                                                           to go to Mass daily and on Sundays
I hope to visit many of you this week and comment, I hope to see lots of stitching and hear how things                                                                           are going for you all

                                                                                Blessings
                                                                                Catherine

Appointments always take up our time, don't they?
Hope Mike is healing well.
Very cute stitching.
Love that Pumpkin mat.
It's been steady in the 30's here for awhile.
No snow though.
It looks like Spring everyday, but cold.
Take care.

I hope Mike is healing well! Errands and appointments can take up so much time. I never want to leave the house that often!

It looks like you've been very busy! I've done flat finishes for ornaments but I'd like to do a flat fold/stand up (whatever it is called) for something I can have out year round. I love your finish!

I was surprised to see you working on so many works.😵
There are also some finished products.
Congratulations.🙌

Rabbit Christmas is so cute.🐇
As a stitching beginner like me, the stitching with a lot of red looks daunting.😓

Please be careful on the snowy roads.

Thank you for introducing my blog.😊

Lovely finishes. Hope Mike is progressing as prayed. We have had some
stormy conditions in the South and cannot wait for Spring to break through. Keep warm and safe.

What a lovely variety of projects you have shared with us today, Catherine! I especially love that pumpkin mat and look forward to seeing it all finished up. I've never done felt or wool work, but it's always interested me.

I do hope your husband is improving and that you both have a wonderful new year. Take good care now ♥
