Finally A Post

Greetings to all my lovely Blog followers, it has been very busy her in the old homestead, we are still doing home improvements and doing outdoor chores, getting ready for flowers and planting hopefully soon. This is Holy Week, a week I look forward to every year.

I have been busy with orders for the beaded crystal balls, working at the food shelf and stitching with  load  reading when I can.

I did  finish stitching Jesus Wept, I changed many of the colors due to so many of the same lite colors were use, plus I did move around a few of the designs due to them either touching each other or very close, some I did leave as you will see in the photo.

I plan on getting it framed soon.

      The finished stitching
I did buy some new stash, this is from Tammy Black, Scattered Seeds Samplers, Tammy does a auto ship every year, her kits have everything needed to stitch the design plus the needle, she even includes a lovely little charm.I will start this one tomorrow evening, after working at the food shelf.

I also bought a By The Bay Time To Blossom, I am going to change her dress to a medium pink color, I think she is adorable.

I also bought a Stitch Starter from Blue Ribbon designs, Belinda also sent along a free pattern which I will stitch soon.

This is where I was last Wednesday

I just had to have the Little Stitcher's Little Snowbird and The Days Of The Blackbird
designs.

Well it is time to walk the dogs and get to bed, I hope you all are keeping safe and healthy from pandemic.

You have been so busy Catherine! Lots of good things in this post. We haven't started our outside work yet which seems weird since we are in Florida. I guess we do not have the clean up that you do. Happy Easter!

Stitching is really creative. A needle and thread led by a warm heart make the new world.

You're right there are soooo many really light colors, some are hard to see. Must have been hard on your eyes while doing the stitching. Looks like the bird one will be fun to make, and with more color be a change of pace for you. Enjoy your stitching time.

Nice to get caught up on your stitching, Catherine (I was in California with my grandbaby so I'm just catching up on my blog reading this weekend!). Lovely finish of Jesus Wept and I love that "stitch starter." I was thinking about buying one of those, too. Hope you had a blessed Easter with your family ♥
