Hello to all my dear followers: I hope this day finds you well and not so cold or stuck in snow.
I am so tired of the cold, we had below zero temps for so long then wham we get three days of warm weather then tonight it will rain sleet and snow ick, had to change all kind of things I wanted to do tomorrow, I am sure Krissy the dog will not mind waiting for her shots and nails clipped till next week.
I have been stitching, I am almost done with my Blackbird Designs A Light For The Lawn Loose Feathers For The Birds #2, I have not done # one but hope to get to it soon. So sorry about the wrinkles. I used the called for fabric and almost all the called for threads. These are going to be the colors of the bedroom when we redo it this spring.
I have been making coffee in my percolator lately, I am trying to cut down on my lattes, way too much milk in them lattes.
This is Michael kissing Baby Jesus Feet
Well its time to stitch, Mike is getting ready for Church he teach's ninth grade CCD Religion, he has been doing this for 17 years now the kids just love him.
I am going to sit and stitch and have some homemade vegetable soup, yummy in my tummy.
To all I wish you good and healthy week.

I wanted to show you the photos I took on Christmas Eve, we have a man a very nice man at our Church who plays Santa every year, he brings the Baby Jesus down so we may kiss the Baby Jesus's feet, it is an emotional moment for many of us.

I love the colors in your stitching. Seeing your work makes me miss cross-stitching. Maybe I can do it again someday.
I hope your computer problems don't have anything to do with that new Windows update. I heard on the news last night that it was going to cause problems for many people.
I meant to ask how you like your perculator. My mother thinks that coffee from a perculator tastes better than drip makers. I don't drink coffee, so I can't judge, but I'd like to get Hubby a new coffee maker next month.
Oh your bedroom will be lovely my friend. Be careful out there. It was so icy here this morning. I was slipping.
What a wonderful message to send the youngsters .... that Santa has the awesome
duty of presenting Baby Jesus to them to be honored... in addition to bringing them
other "gifts" for Christmas. Thank you for sharing...
I have two Farberware electric perkers. That's all the family used for gatherings, the old stovetop glass ones for daily cups. I got the espresso beans from a local coffee roaster, but have no pot! Had to return the Bialetti because my smooth top stove burners are too large and will melt the handle. Thinking of an entry level espresso machine to try for caps.
We're warming but only for a few days.
Lovely stitching love the pretty colours.
How sweet is baby Jesus it must be very moving .
Try and stay in the warm , Spring will be here soon.
Beautiful stitching and what a lovely tradition in the church.
I hope your computer issues are all corrected. I should get a percolator...I enjoy coffee made that way much more than drip. Such a pretty BBD stitch and pretty colors. I changed my bedroom from Green and pinks to blue two years ago. Very restful colors. What a lovely tradition at your church. So nice of Mike to teach CCD too.
A great finish, love the colors.
As I'm typing this, it's 52 degrees!!
We've also had about 2 weeks of minus and single digit temps here.
What strange weather!
Have a great week!
Marilyn
Beautiful stitching , Catherine! That's a nice tradition in your church. Stay warm.
I got a new laptop today, need to install lots of things and transfer data from old laptop.
Beautiful stitching Catherine! I have not drank coffee from a percolator in a long time but if I remember correctly the coffee tastes much better! Such a beautiful tradition your church has!
Congrats on the pretty finish Catherine.
Linda
Lovely finish, such pretty colours.
Hope you get the computer problems sorted soon!
I love your new stitch Catherine. The colors are gorgeous. RJ
This Blackbird Designs piece is so gorgeous because of the vibrant blues it has.
Love the Blackbird design and your color choices. What a wonderful tradition at your church. And major kudos to your husband for his work with youth. Robin.
