 I was talking to a friend about the cross stitch they offer for sale on Temu, I had a long look, there are some designs that they are selling that belong to designers, they also are selling designs that are exactly like Mill Hill designs, please be aware what you are buying if you buy on Temu.

 Teresa Kogut has posted on her Patreon site about people using her designs to raise money for someone who has cancer or some other illness, they are bogus sites but still manage to download her design and sell as a PDF, please be aware of where you are buying a design from, only use a legitimate site or a brick and motor store.

If it looks like it is bogus be cautious. This has happened to other designers.

I Have A Finish

 I have been having a very busy week, not a whole lot of stitching, but I do have one constructed design, it is  Blue Ribbon design that is a complimentary design, Belinda has some very sweet designs. https://blueribbondesigns.com, Belinda also has many sewing patterns for sale and some lovely bags.

                    I stitched the first set back in March 2024, constructed them close to the same time

I did finish stitching this set the end of July, I constructed them on Saturday, I did the finishing a bit different, I am not sure how I will display them maybe in a dough bowl, any thoughts from you all

                I am now stitching a Blackbird design for the 250th Anniversary of the USA

                 on my next post I will share a photo not much stitching to show right now

       I hope you all are enjoying this time of year I am I am not a fan of winter any longer

                 Please Pray that the fires in Canada and any other place are extinguished soon

I have been busy

 Greetings to all mt faithful followers, thank-you from my heart for all your comments on my last few posts. I am so sorry I have not sent out thank-you emails, it has been the busiest summer since I retired in 2015.

I have done some stitching, not much smaller items, there is one that I have to construct the wood that the pieces will go on, I plan on doing that today after dinner.

I have stitched two other pin cushions from Victoria Sampler, this one is so sweet, I stitched it on 28 count unknown fabric with DMC threads, I did not have the Kreinik or Needlepoint threads, I converted the colors to my liking.

                             This Magazine from 2006 has a couple of items I plan on stitching

I had started this design in 2006, I somehow left it in the magazine and put it back on the shelf, shame on me

This is such a sweet design, I love and feed the hummingbirds in our garden

I plan on using this (if) it works out as an insert to a leather purse, I will keep you posted on that, I did not add Hummingbird words just a bare branch

My very dear friend Sandys Mothers last name was Jolly, I just had to stitch this for her, I was able to buy the scabble board holders on Amazon, when I am finished staining or painting the boards I will post a photo

I stitched them on 36 count unknown, as many of you know from my previous postings, I get loads of fabric from the stash reallocation tables, many fabrics do not have the designer of the fabric on them, I plan on doing a few more of these Jolly's for gifts for other people in my family, I used a DMC red 304

I wanted to stitch a mitten, Stasi over at: https://beemusedandbeestitching.blogspot.com has stitched many mittens and the are so cute, please visit her someday soon

I just had to do him on a blue fabric, I did not have any black, I will add the red nose button and the bell later

When I was in Blue Earth Minnesota for the Welcome Stitchery retreat I bought The Birthday Tart design, I do not have many stitched items for fall, this one caught my eye the tins I bought on Etsy, again I used an unknown fabric  but did do it on 35 count with the called for threads

It really is prettier in person
