Greetings Friends

Well it has been a rocky start to 2017 for my Mother Michael and myself, finally we are all three getting things back to normal, I am so proud of my Mother and the great progress she is making with her weight loss and her rehab program, she is an amazing 86 year old woman. I LOVE YOU MOM.

I have been feeling better just get tired easily, I did finish the Paper Snowflake, I was off by one stitch but it all worked out in the end.

So sorry about the wrinkles, I do want to get this framed soon.
I must say the fabric called for does not look like the photo on the package photo, I looked closer and it seems that there is a film or something on the photo giving the design a darker look, I do wish designers would not do this, I was expecting my fabric to look like the photo, does anyone else find this annoying?

I started this on Monday evening and finished stitching it Monday evening a fast stitch,  I need to have a couple of finishing days, I have loads of designs I have stitched and are sitting and waiting for them to be finiahed.

I started a Christmas ornament last evening and hope to have this finished tomorrow evening.

That's about it for now.
Thank-you to all the wonderful people who are following me here in Blogland, thank-you to all of you that leave such beautiful comments, I am really grateful for your friendship.

Blessings
Catherine

I'm happy to hear all of you are doing better.
Paper Snowflakes is pretty.
Yes, it IS annoying when you want your piece to look just like the picture, but it doesn't.
Sometimes it not even the same fabric!
Great new projects!

Congrats on the finish!! Glad to know that your family is feeling better.
The new projects are all lovely.
The printed image goes through so many stages of photography and printing that it loses the actual color. It happens quite often with me. I change the project colors to those that are visually appealing to me.

I am so glad you are all improving! Paper Snowflakes looks wonderful Catherine. Yes, I hate that the pattern pictures do not match the linen and flosses listed. I am going through lots of problems with that on BBD AotH right now.

Congratulations on the finish. I do like the way the border isn't the same all the way around. That makes it so much more interesting to stitch.
I rarely use the recommended fabric as I often can't get it so my work always looks different to the cover photo!

So glad you're all on the mend!
Your stitching is lovely, as always! I also like the border on your big finish. I like the interest because it doesn't match all the way around!
Your blog looks so "Eastery"! I like it!

I understand what you mean about fabric color. The most frustrating for me is when a called-for color barely shows up on the called-for fabric, even though I know dye lots change. But the package sometimes looks wildly different. Glad to know things are getting back to normal. Very pretty stitch!

I like the Gatekeeper Pinkeep design, I hadn't seen that one before. Excited to see how you finish it (I have a box of projects waiting on me to make something out of them!)

Look at your snow!!! Wow!
So glad you are feeling better! Some bad illness is going around! And I know someone who had double pneumonia recently and the doctor wanted to put her in the hospital, but she wouldn't go! Scary!
I love, love your little cards! How fun!
